To graduate from Esquire College with a Bachelor of Science In Law the student must complete a minimum of 60 undergraduate units and 42 Graduate level units as follows:

1.

Lower division courses from another institution (60 units) including 30 units in general education.
2. 45 units of Legal Studies at the graduate level (the first two years of the Juris Doctorate program at Esquire College).
The student must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or better in all courses taken at Esquire College.

The Bachelor of Science in Law Degree satisfies the first two years of the J.D. program.

Criminal Procedure 3 units
Real Property 6 units

Total required J.D. courses: 42 units
Undergraduate Courses at an Accredited Institution:
General Education: 30 units
Candidates must have completed at least a total of 30 units in general education from an accredited institution in the following categories:
Freshman Composition at least 3 units
Mathematics at least 3 units
Science at least 3 units
Humanities at least 6 units
Social Science at least 6 units
   
Transferable Electives 30 units
Any academic courses from an accredited institution may be used to meet the additional 30 units required for graduation.

The Bachelor of Science in Law will be awarded after successful completion of the units described above. To aid students in their academic planning, Esquire College has developed a two-year plan for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Law.

Students concurrently enrolled in the J.D. program should follow the four-year plan leading to a Juris Doctorate or seek academic counseling by contacting the Dean's Office.
